GPUMCI: a flexible platform for x-ray imaging on the GPU

GPUMCI is a flexible, GPU-accelerated Monte Carlo platform for simulating photon transport in x-ray imaging. By running the simulation on the GPU it achieves the speed needed for practical use while remaining general enough to model a range of imaging geometries and detector configurations.
